Shashidhara, SeaCAD’s resident CAM Engineer showcased to us the new functionalities in this new release of SolidCAM.

Accelerate Your Design (Mr Ben Toh)

Mr Ben Toh, Project Manager from Flash Engineering presented tips and tricks he uses to speed up his projects on SolidWorks. He recounted his experience with past cleints where using 2D Sketch Blocks and 2D-3D tools gained him the competitive edge in not just blindly creating models, but also to be able to add intelligence and evauluate the workability of the models before they come out in 3D.

Advanced Modeling with SolidWorks Surfaces (Mr Edy Gunawan)

Mr Edy Gunawan, Training Manager of SeaCAD Technologies presented during our first ever ‘eat-in’ lunch time breakout session. Edy shared with us on how the surface commands can be effectively utilized to create complex geometry within SolidWorks. Creating complex geometry may not be complex in SolidWorks!

 PhotoWorks - Beyond the Textbook (Mr Sean Seneviratne)

The audience learnt a great deal from Mr. Sean Seneviratne’s Photoworks Breakout session where he shared tips-n-tricks, and secrets he learnt from personal experiences creating several photorealistic models for previous SeaCAD shows and banners.
